Higgins Needs Your Help!
“Higgins”, a 9-week-old Labrador mix sustained injuries when he was accidently stepped on by his owner.
Unfortunately the owner wasn't able to care for the pup anymore and left Higgins with a family friend who took him to a local veterinarian.
Upon examination, Higgins’ leg was put in a splint and they started him on immediate pain management.
Higgins was brought into foster care where his loving caretakers were hoping this sweet little puppy would rest enough to keep the splint in place to avoid having a pin put in. Sadly, a follow up exam to assess his progress determined that he would require further surgery.
Higgins care, surgery and recovery will exceed $2,500!
