Iggy Needs Your Help!

“Iggy” was taking up residence in a forested area in Simcoe County. This little soul had appeared to be trying to survive on his own for some time, injured, alone and hungry.

When Iggy arrived at the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch, he was dirty, lethargic, dehydrated and extremely uncomfortable. Iggy was in need of immediate veterinarian care.

Upon examination and x-rays to assess the extent of his injuries, it was determined that Iggy’s injury had been sustained some time ago, and with the severity of the break in his hind leg, the pain would have been excruciating. It was then decided that the best course of action to give Iggy the quality of life he deserve would be to amputate the limb.

Iggy is in need of your help! The cost of surgery and recovery will surpass $1800.

Please donate today! Your generous support can help give Iggy and other animals like him, a second chance at life.
