Ninja needs your help!

At only 11 months of age, this very sweet dog has been in distress for most of his life, constantly scratching until his skin was raw because of the extremely itch he suffered. “Ninja” has Demodex Mange, which is a condition that involves his own immune system wreaking havoc on his coat and skin.
When treated early, Demodex Mange can be managed with proper medication. Unfortunately in Ninja’s case, his condition went untreated far too long and after months of being in discomfort, is now fighting to get healthy again.
Since being brought into the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Branch, Ninja has been to the vet, is on proper medication and put on a strict bathing regime. With a little care, he will start to become the handsome and regal looking boy he is.
Ninja’s medications are quite expensive and his care will be ongoing for up to six months. We need your help so that we can continue to provide the best care possible.
