Fun had by all at Friends for Life! Walk™
We are pleased to report we had another
successful Friends for Life! Walk™, which was held at Annie Williams Memorial
Park on Sunday September 20th, 2015.
We would like to thank all our participants
who helped fundraise for the animals here at the Ontario SPCA Muskoka
Animal Centre, and for making this event a success again this year. The
weather was gorgeous and we were thrilled to see so many dogs that were adopted
from our shelter in attendance. A special thank you to the Bracebridge Lions
Club for sponsoring and hosting a BBQ lunch for our participants and
volunteers!

"Floyd May Weather" Update
Some of you may remember reading about little “Floyd May Weather” who arrived at the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre in late May 2015.
This little guy was as cute as could be be and loaded with “catitude”.
Floyd was born with the paw missing from his left back leg. He recovered well from some correctional surgery, and his new Dad tells us that this has not stopped Floyd from doing everything other cats can do, including getting into a lot of mischief.
We are so pleased that both Floyd (and his sister “Marg”) have found the loving home that they so deserve, and want to thank all of our valued friends, donors and supporters for helping us to make their dreams come true. We couldn’t do it without your continued support!

"Ronnie's Rescue"
Poor little “Ronnie” was found wandering the streets before he was brought to the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre. He was an adorable black-and-white Pug mix who immediately stole the hearts of staff and volunteers alike with his loving personality.
We are happy to report that Ronnie finally found a special place to call home with one of our long-time volunteers Linda Weir and her husband Bob (and their dog Maisey). We look forward to seeing Ronnie on a regular basis and watching him blossom with his new family. Ronnie is pictured with his new mom Linda.
Congratulations Ronnie, Bob, Linda and Maisey!
