Animals Like "Saydie" Need Your Help
“Saydie”, an adorable ten-month-old pup was playing out in her yard when she tried jumping the fence and got her paw caught. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in a severe break to her front leg. After a veterinarian examination, it was determined that Saydie’s leg would need to be amputated for her to enjoy a happy and healthy life.
Sadie’s family were unable to afford the cost of the expensive surgery and contacted the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre for assistance.
Saydie has a long road to recovery. She will require regular check-ups and physiotherapy to help her heal and live a long and happy life.
Help Saydie in her recovery and donate to other animals just like her.

Saving Animals One Step at a Time
On September 19th, many enthusiastic walkers came out to Centennial Park in support of the animals in the Renfrew County. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Friends for Life! Walk™ such a success! The event couldn't have been successful without the generosity of our community sponsors, the commitment of our volunteers, and everyone who donated, fundraised or participated in the walk.
We hope you will join us next September. Stay tuned for details.

A Letter from "Moxie"
It’s not every day we get a letter from one of our adopted pets! It reads:
“To my Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre family — My new Mom and Dad have been adapting pretty well to having a kitten in the house, but I have been relatively easy on them. I mean there was that one incident with the lamp... but how was I to know that if I launched myself from the couch that darn lamp was going to fall over?! Mom has been calling me Moxie "launch" ever since.
Thank you for your help in finding me a great ‘fur-ever’ home! I know I am going to be really happy here.
Sincerely,
Moxie”
