Saving Animals One Step at a Time
We are thrilled to announce that the the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre's Friends for Life! Walk was a success!
As one of our largest fundraisers, we rely on over 40 volunteers working from dawn until dusk, helping with setup, teardown and throughout the day to help make it enjoyable for all. An event this large would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. It is truly amazing to watch everyone pull together, work as a team and have fun raising money for a great cause. Thank you to all of our volunteers for their dedication and support!
We hope to see everyone back next September. Stay tuned for details.

"Ollie" Needs a Home
It can be completely devastating for an owner to part with their beloved pet, especially due to circumstances beyond their control. This was the case with “Ollie”, a curious but shy 1-year-old cat. Ollie was brought into our care at the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre after his owners had to move out of the province.
Thanks to our Meet Your Match® program, we learned he was a “Secret Admirer”. Once he warms up to the right person, he will love you forever!
Please contact us to learn more about this charming little guy. (His adoption fee has been reduced to $50, so let’s find him a home!)

Rallying Together for “Bailey”
Veterinary care for the animals that come into the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre can be very taxing on shelter resources. Once again, your donations have helped animals like “Bailey”, a 4-year-old Miniature Dachshund who was abandoned.
Bailey required a costly surgery on his leg because he had a dislocated knee. The surgery went smoothly, and in the weeks following we began the search for his forever home. He was adopted by a wonderful family who sent us a great update.
“We are so lucky to have him, and are excited for him to experience life with us. We could not have found a more perfect dog!"
You can help animals just like Bailey.
