Help "Amber" and Others Like Her
Abandoned by her owner, Amber, a sweet and gentle German shepherd was dropped off for boarding, only to be left there indefinitely. Her family never came back to pick her up.
This old soul had plenty of love to give. The staff at the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addginton Animal Centre couldn’t imagine why anyone would have left her behind, but upon intake, it was discovered that Amber had something very wrong with her ears. She was brought to see a local veterinarian determined that this beautiful girl had three types of infections causing her incredible pain and discomfort.
Luckily, Amber’s ear infections can be treated, but it will take months to get her back to health and live a normal life again. Medication and the cost of her veterinarian care will cost close to $800. We need your help to cover the cost of care for Amber and other animals just like her in need of medical care and rehabilitation.
Please donate today to help Amber and others live the healthy life they deserve.

Saving Animals One Step at a Time
On September 19th, many enthusiastic walkers came out to Conservation Park in support of the animals in the Napanee area. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Friends for Life! Walk™ such a success! The event couldn't have been successful without the generosity of our community sponsors, the commitment of our volunteers, and everyone who donated, fundraised or participated in the walk.
We hope you will join us next September. Stay tuned for details.

“Monroe” Warms our Hearts
For each and every pet that comes through the doors of the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre, we are thrilled to receive updates about their new lives. “Monroe” was an adorable mixed-breed dog who has adjusted wonderfully into his new home!
“Monroe loves his new sister Luna, as she loves him as well. They both love to play and give each other kisses. We are very fortunate to have found such a wonderful addition to our family, and we cannot wait to continue to build memories with him!”
