Saving Animals One Step at a Time
On September 19th, many enthusiastic walkers came out to Mud Creek Park in support of the animals in the Chatham-Kent area. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Friends for Life! Walk™ such a success! The event couldn't have been successful without the generosity of our community sponsors, the commitment of our volunteers, and everyone who donated, fundraised or participated in the walk.
We hope you will join us next September. Stay tuned for details.

Meet our very own "Grumpy Cat"
“Clam” was a little rough around the edges when she first arrived at the Ontario SPCA Kent County Animal Centre. She was a mature cat, roughly 8-10 years old, and was found partially shaved and missing several teeth.
Despite her somewhat grouchy appearance, Clam turned out to be a sweet, snuggly cat with soft, luxurious fur. Clam waited patiently, enjoying the attention from our staff and volunteers. A wonderful family soon came by and fell in love with her. Clam is now enjoying her twilight years surrounded by love and affection!
