Leash Training your Dog with Dave Salmoni 

Dave Salmoni is back! This time, he’s going to help show methods of leash training your dog, with the help of Ontario SPCA Inspector Scott Sylvia and Hannah the dog!

Providing Spay/Neuter Services to Whitefish Bay First Nation

The Whitefish Bay community is committed to reducing pet overpopulation. They recently invited the Ontario SPCA, Beat the Heat Kenora, the Grey Bruce Aboriginal Qimmiq Team, the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society and local volunteers, on to the First Nation community to provide spay/neuter services.

The Ontario SPCA is pleased to report that 79 surgeries were performed!  In addition, the team was able to provide microchipping and vaccines to some of the local pets.

Cupcake Day a Huge Success 

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every person who was involved in National Cupcake Day™ on February 29, 2016. We had cupcakes in every imaginable colour and flavour to help us raise money for the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre.

To everyone who baked, donated their time, assisted with fundraising and selling cupcakes or just simply purchased them to enjoy, we want you to know you made the day a big success.
