The summer weather is upon us and our emergency dispatch team has been receiving calls every day about animals being left unattended in hot cars.
There is no excuse for leaving a pet unattended in a vehicle and this summer we need your help to share this important message and save lives.

High Number of Rabies Cases Reported
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reported earlier this June, 76 cases of confirmed raccoon strain and fox strains in parts of southwestern Ontario. Along with having your pet vaccinated by your veterinarian, there are ways to keep your family and pets safe.

Lost and alone, Achilles was brought to the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre by a concerned citizen. He is a fun loving, affectionate lad who likes the company of other cats. Achilles loves to play with his toys and curl up on a warm lap.
