Join Us! No Excuses. No Hot Pets.
The summer weather is upon us and our emergency dispatch team has been receiving calls every day about animals being left unattended in hot cars.
There is no excuse for leaving a pet unattended in a vehicle and this summer we need your help to share this important message and save lives.
Be a No Hot Pets ambassador this summer. Join thousands of Canadians who have already taken the No Hot Pets pledge online and receive your free car decal.
Be sure to spread the message on social media about the dangers of leaving your pet in your vehicle using the hashtag #nohotpets.

Pilots N Paws to the Rescue
We are thrilled to have worked with Pilots N Paws, a non-profit organization consisting of a national community of volunteers that provides free air transportation to Canadian animal rescues and shelters. In early May, Pilots N Paws contacted the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Animal Centre to coordinate the transport of ten cats and a rabbit from the SPCA Rouyn-Noranda in Quebec.
We are so grateful for the assistance of Pilots N Paws and look forward to working together again to help animals find their forever home! Thank you to all the volunteers for your commitment to Animal Welfare. |
Hurray for “Maxwell” and “Juniper”
Remember “Juniper" the sweet grey cat and Maxwell, our happy-go-lucky German Shepherd dog? Both of these animals required extensive treatment and orthopedic surgery while in the care of the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Animal Centre.
Thanks to the support of our community, they were given a second chance! Both Juniper and Maxwell were adopted into loving homes last month and are doing great! A big thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers, donors, medical partners, students and staff for giving these two wonderful pets a second chance at a happy life. |
