Join Us! No Excuses. No Hot Pets.
The summer weather is upon us and our emergency dispatch team has been receiving calls every day about animals being left unattended in hot cars.

A Fresh Start for “Bumps”
“Bumps” came to the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre in pretty rough shape. He was in dire need of dental work and had several bumps on his body that needed to be removed to alleviate his discomfort. The staff took great care of Bumps, and after some TLC, he was ready to be adopted.
It didn’t take long for this sweet boy to get a fresh start. Now known as “Benji”, he is loving life with his new family and new sister “Leah”.
Congratulations to Benji and his new family! |
A Great Partnership Benefiting the Animals
We would like to thank Altelka, a call centre located here in Cornwall, for choosing the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre as their charity of choice for the month of May. Their fundraising efforts throughout the month provided much needed dollars to help the animals in our care.
Altelka also hosted an adoption day at their site to help showcase some of our wonderful animals. Staff members Julie and Sophie were thrilled with the outcome thanks to this wonderful partnership.
Thank you Altelka! |

Contest Winner Donates Prize
Ginette Richer recently entered a contest held at the local Caisse Populaire and won $500! But rather then spend the money on something for herself, Ginette decided to help the animals in need and donate her prize money to the Ontario SPCA Stormont. Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre’s Friends for Life! Walk™.
Thank you Ginette for your generous gift. You can help too by joining us on Saturday, September 24th, 2016. Visit friendsforlifewalk.ca for details!
