Join Us! No Excuses. No Hot Pets.
The summer weather is upon us and our emergency dispatch team has been receiving calls every day about animals being left unattended in hot cars.
There is no excuse for leaving a pet unattended in a vehicle and this summer we need your help to share this important message and save lives.
Be a No Hot Pets ambassador this summer. Join thousands of Canadians who have already taken the No Hot Pets pledge online and receive your free car decal.
Be sure to spread the message on social media about the dangers of leaving your pet in your vehicle using the hashtag #nohotpets.

“Baron” Meets his Match
It’s hard not to fall in love with ALL the animals up for adoption and finding that perfect match can be a little overwhelming. At the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre, we can match potential families with the perfect pets thanks to the Meet Your Match® program.
Meet Your Match helps thousands of animals like our handsome “Baron” pictured above, find their forever homes. Take the survey today and take the first step to finding your next best friend. |
Eighteen Years Dedicated
Volunteer Mr. Straney started out with the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre by donating his time every afternoon to walk the dogs in our care. Eighteen years later, we can still count on him every day, rain or shine, to walk the dogs and put a smile on our faces. Mr. Straney has a remarkable bond with the dogs and takes each one of their pictures so he can remember them after they have been adopted. He also comes to all our events to support the animals and help them find their forever home.
Thank you Mr. Straney for everything you do. We really appreciate your hard work! |

The bottle drive is one our biggest fundraisers with all proceeds supporting the animal centre. After a long weekend or celebration, swing by our facility located at 15979 Highway 12 East to donate your empties.
