Hunter needs your help!
It’s been a difficult journey for Hunter and it’s not over yet for the two-year-old black German Shepherd. He came to the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre with a serious skin infection that left him covered in open sores and without any fur.
Despite the pain and discomfort caused by the infection, Hunter is an extremely playful dog with a big personality. He’s currently undergoing treatment and should be ready to find his forever home in the next couple of months.

Keep your pets safe by learning the signs and what to do if your pet suffers from heatstroke.

Update on Elijah
Do you remember our friend Elijah? Earlier this year we asked for your help because Elijah was battling an infection in his front paw. The incredible support you showed Elijah blew us away. You helped us raise the full $3,500 to cover his costs of care!
Due to Elijah’s complex medical needs, he was placed with a foster family who could provide the needed care for his paw during his two-month recovery.
Today, his name is Tundra, and he is being spoiled by the same foster family as they decided to adopt him! Check out our recent blog post with an update and pictures from the family.
