Nala,
where are you?
Sometime between Aug. 13 and 14, the Ontario SCPA Barrie
Animal Centre was broken into. The suspect(s) gained access through a window
and three dogs were taken. The first dog, Sultan, came back unharmed as a stray
on the morning of Aug. 14. The second dog, Roscoe, came back on Aug. 16 after
being found by a woman in Alcona. Read
Roscoe’s story.
But where is Nala? The dog still missing is a female
Husky x German Shepherd cross. Small for her breed mix, she weighs
approximately 40-45 lbs. She is black, with white flecks on her back legs. She
did not know her name yet, so will not respond to her name. She had just been
spayed on Aug. 12 and had a fresh spay scar, shaved belly and was wearing a
cone.
If you see a dog resembling Nala, or have any
information about her whereabouts, contact Barrie Police at 705-725-7025, ext.268.
