Last call to register for our Friends for Life! Walk™

Time is running out to register for our Friends for Life! Walk™, presented by Pedigree®, on Sunday, Sept. 25. It's a great way to spend a few hours with your dog where you can walk beautiful trails, play some games, socialize with other canines and their humans and, at the end of it all, enjoy a delicious slice of pizza courtesy of Domino's Pizza.

Money raised through the Friends for Life! Walk™ supports programs and services provided by the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre. By participating in this great event, you are helping our centre continue the life-saving work it does each and every day.

We can’t do this alone, which is why we need you to go the extra mile to help vulnerable animals. Register today and help us change animals’ lives, one step at a time.

Ontario SPCA Assists ASPCA in Cruelty Case Involving Over 1,000 Animals

The Ontario SPCA sent members of its Rescue & Relief team to Massachusetts on July 29 to assist the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) in the largest-ever farm cruelty case in the Northeast United States.

The Ontario SPCA provided support to the ASPCA and Westport Police Department. Together, they cared for and sheltered more than 1,000 farm animals, including pigs, horses, rabbits, sheep and cows, as well as dogs, cats and fish, that were found on the 70-acre property

Can you help Mocha?

We have an 11-week old Pug/Miniature Pinscher puppy named Mocha in our care who is battling health issues.

A tough little cookie, Mocha has fought off infections and we’re hopeful this will be the last round of antibiotics she’ll have to endure.

We would appreciate any donations you can make towards the cost of Mocha’s care and veterinary treatment.

We are thrilled to report that Spock and Kirk have found their forever home! The two brothers came to the centre as strays and had been here since April.
