Know the signs of heatstroke

A little TLC for Panda
He might be little, but Panda, a new resident at the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre, is making a big impact. This sweet Bichon Frise-mix dog loves to keep us entertained, and at 10 years young, he doesn’t miss a beat.
Although we love Panda’s happy-go-lucky attitude, we definitely can't wait for him to find a place to call home. So Panda is getting a makeover! Along with a good grooming session, Panda requires dental work with possible teeth extractions to keep him happy and healthy.
Please consider making a gift to help animals like Panda get the care they deserve.
Panda will be available for adoption soon. Visit the adoption section on our website to see all our friends waiting to meet you.

Volunteers make it count, one bottle at a time
Every Wednesday morning, rain or shine, the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre is alive with the sound of laughter and the clanking of bottles. Each week, a wonderful group of volunteers come together to clean, organize, and package empty beer, liquor, and wine bottles, which are then returned for money.
Some of these volunteers have been dedicating their time towards this program for over 15 years. We are so proud and grateful for their dedication and wanted to take a moment to say thank you! You are truly making a difference for homeless pets. |
One-of-a-kind Zappa needs a home
If you are looking for a cat with big personality, you have to meet Zappa. This seven-year-old king of the castle is quite the character; he keeps us entertained on a daily basis. Zappa doesn’t like small spaces. In fact, he is currently residing in the front cat room where he happily jumps around and makes use of all his space. But Zappa would like even more space in his very own home where he can get the love and attention he craves. Zappa also requested to be in a home without dogs where he can be the only focus.
Come by the centre to meet him today! He will be the purring face that greets you as you walk through the door. |
