Volunteer Spotlight
Our volunteer program is a wonderful extension of our staffing at the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch. One of our newer volunteers, Debbie Waelz, has proven to be an integral
part of our team!
Debbie doesn’t just walk the dogs each week, she also takes
the higher energy canines for a good run! Dogs that have bundles of energy benefit from her extra effort so much. Those dogs become
more relaxed after getting good exercise.
All of us at the branch (both four and two-legged) are grateful to you, Debbie! Thank you for your time and hard work.
Visit our Get Involved section on our website for more information on volunteer opportunities.

No Hot Pets!
The award-winning No Hot Pets campaign is back!
The Ontario SPCA receives hundreds of reports of pets being left in cars every year.
The Ontario SPCA and Cadillac Fairview are working together with participating shelters across Canada to share the dangers of leaving pets unattended in hot vehicles.
We are asking for your help in sharing this message too. When you take the pledge NOT to leave your pet in your vehicle, you will receive a free No Hot Pets decal in the mail. Take the pledge now!
Check out our collaborative PSA with York Region Police and Toronto Police Services. See more by clicking here.
If you see a pet in a hot vehicle, report it! Reporting is as easy as dialing 310-SPCA.
Lets have no hot pets this summer!
