Have you Met your Match?

You could be gazing at the animal of your dreams, but you just can't tell what she's thinking behind that furry face.

What if you knew a little something about her personality and habits before you moved in together?

The ASPCA's Meet Your Match®(MYM) program is the only method in existence today that evaluates an animal's behavior and interests and matches them to an adopter's preferences so that you take home a pet you can really click with.

Watch our new MYM PSA!

American Express at the Provincial Education & Animal Center

A big Thank You goes out to the American Express #SERVE2GETHER TEAM for taking the time to come and help out at the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre (PEAC) last month.

The volunteers helped refresh paint in various areas of the shelter - such as the walls and halls - and helped mark out a new walking trail for the grateful pets at PEAC.

What an AWESOME day!

Visit the Get Involved section on our website for more information on volunteer opportunities.

iAdopt Urgent Appeal a Great Success

Ontario SPCA branches across the province recently experienced a high influx of adult cats in their care so we created an iAdopt Urgent Appeal campaign, asking people to consider adopting an adult cat from their local branch.

From June 20 - July 6, 2014, adult cat adoption fees were reduced to only $50.

We are happy to report that in just over two weeks, 224 adult cats were adopted from our branches, and are now enjoying thier forever homes. Thank you to all those who took part!

Don't Forget Your Pet

The Ontario SPCA and participating shelters across Canada are working together to share the dangers of leaving pets unattended in hot vehicles.

We are asking for your help in sharing this message too. Take the pledge now!

Check out our collaborative PSA with York Region Police and Toronto Police Services.

If you see a pet in a hot vehicle, report it! Reporting is as easy as dialing 310-SPCA.

Lets have no hot pets this summer!
