Simba's Happy Ending
The Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch recently had a sweet little kitty named “Simba” in our care.
Simba spent his young life in several different homes before coming into the shelter.
He was a wonderful cat with a very casual and relaxed personality so we knew it wouldn’t be long before he got adopted.
We are happy to announce that indeed, it didn’t take long and he has now found his 'furever' home!!
We look forward to many updates and photos!

Amazing Volunteers
The wonderful group of volunteers at the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch are vital to our day-to-day operations!
Our volunteers assist the staff with numerous tasks, including: caring and cleaning the animals in the shelter, walking the dogs, socializing with the cats and dogs, helping at events, transporting animals to our PetSmart adoption locations, as well as taking injured wildlife to various rehabilitation centres across Simcoe County and beyond.
If you would like to get involved, please go to www.myvolunteerpage.com and fill out our volunteer survey. We will then be in touch with you to provide the date of our next mandatory orientation held at our branch.
Thanks again to all our volunteers, past, present, and future!

Thank You!
We want to say a big Thank You to our friends at Blue Dragon Martial Arts!
While preparing for their graduation ceremony, they asked for friends and family to bring donations for the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch.
When the big day arrived, they exceeded expectations, both in the ring and at the collections table. They collected an entire truck bed’s worth of donations for our branch!
Our deepest thanks to Sensei Phillip Allain and his whole school for their generosity and community spirit.
Their school motto is “building better people, not better fighters”, and it shows!
