Another Happy Ending
“Tod” & “Copper”, Miniature Pinscher pups were cuter than anyone could imagine when they were brought into the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Branch one busy Saturday morning.
They were healthy little brothers, weighing in at not even 3 pounds each, found abandoned at the side of the highway and brought in by a concerned passerby.
They were too young and small to remain at the shelter and a foster home was arranged for them immediately.
When these puppies were larger and older, they returned from foster care and quickly got adopted from the shelter.
Congratulations to Tod and Copper, as well as their new families! You’ve made a story with a lonely start have a lovely ending.

Volunteer Spotlight!
This month, the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Branch would like to thank our cat enrichment volunteer Melissa Gray for the thought she puts into her volunteer time and the amazing bonds she creates with the cats when she is here. Melissa is eager and always brings a smile and positive attitude with her to the shelter, which is just one of the reasons why we are always happy to have her around.
We are always in great need for Animal Welfare Aid Volunteers, MON-FRI from 9-10am to assist our staff in cleaning our cat adoption room. This is a rewarding volunteering experience that ensures that our cats are kept clean, healthy and in the most adoptable condition every day.

Circle of Friends
Meet Jory Boulanger, Jaxon Walsh and Kaylynn Voisin the Circle of Friends!
These three young girls are passionate about all types of animals and came up with the idea of making bracelets to sell for an open donation of any amount. All the money raised would go towards care for the animals at the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Branch.
The girls inaugurated the “Circle of Friends”: a bracelet making campaign to show support for the love of animals!
Shortly after this, the girls heard about “Bulldozer”, our puppy in need, and wanted their efforts to make a difference in his life. In only three short weeks, the Circle of Friends raised $1,506 dollars for the shelter!
Amazing work girls. Thank You!
Read Dozer's story and make a donation to his care.
