Another Happy Ending
”Dan” is a Redbone Coonhound that came in as a transfer from another Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch.
He had been removed from a cat breeding facility in February of 2014.
Left in a pen with a female Redbone Coonhound, these two came into our care from deplorable conditions.
In July 2014, a young couple fell in love with Dan. They knew the instant that they saw him and heard his story that he belonged in their family.
Dan is now a welcome, happy member of their household and we are happy to report that he has adopted them right back!

Volunteer Spotlight We have had many young women come into the Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch to volunteer this summer.
Some just needed their 40 hours for school and decided to stay, and some came in because they wanted experience.
Whatever their motivation, they've all worked really hard for the animals, and we wanted to say to Bryne, Kensie and Jackie that you ladies have been fantastic. We really appreciate the help and support you've shown the staff.
All the best in your future endeavours.

Thinking Outside the Box
Roy Boni from Sutton-Group Incentrive Realy Inc. Brokerage has decided to make this the summer for animals.
He is donating flyer space and newspaper space to ensure that homeless pets get noticed from the Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch.
Many thanks to the Roy Boni team for thinking outside the box to help our homeless animals!
We hope the extra visibility our animals get will help them find their forever homes!
