Another Happy Ending
“George” is probably one of the chattiest kittens we have ever encountered here at the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch!
George was one of the Bengal kittens we had up for adoption recently.
Luke came in for a look at the shelter and immediately had a soft spot for the little guy with the big lungs.
George went into foster care with Luke before coming back in for his neutering. He didn’t want to be parted from his new dad, even if it was just for the surgery!
He talked and meowed and made himself heard while waiting for Luke to pick him up after his surgery, but once Luke arrived and held him, George settled right down and started purring!
The large amount of love between these two is obvious; we are certain this is a happy 'tail'!

Lemonade for Animals
Who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned lemonade stand? Especially one that’s raising money for the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch?
These two sets of sisters are entrepreneurs in the making, setting up the stand every summer when their parents get together.
The two Silvester sisters and the two Button girls set up “The Beach House Busters Stand” this year at the Grand Bend Farmer’s Market, where all their proceeds went to our branch.
The girls have been great friends for their whole lives and are all animal lovers.
The Silvesters are from Orillia and the Buttons are from the Netherlands, so it’s always cause to celebrate when the lemonade stand comes out in the summer for some transatlantic friendship and fun!
Thank you girls for thinking of our animals when you get together!
