The Ontario SPCA is gearing up for the holidays with some great programs in support of the animals. After a successful campaign last year, iAdopt for the Holidays launched nation wide November 1st, 2014. Rescue groups, SPCAs and Humane Societies are coming together to promote responsible pet adoption over the holidays.
And what gift-giving season would be complete without the return of Paws & Give™, the Ontario SPCA's symbolic gift catalogue.

In celebration of "iAdopt of the Holidays", all adoption fees for cats and kittens have been reduced to $99 for the month of November.

SAP Canada Lends Hand
On October 25th, the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre (PEAC) was proud to host 16 employees from SAP Canada for their day of service.
During their visit, SAP employees spent the day beautifying the Spay Neuter Clinic, building cat towers, repairing dog runs and tending to the gardens.
“More corporations recognize the benefits of offering their employees this type of opportunity and the impact often goes well beyond one day. SAP Canada employees not only gave their time for their day of service, but several are now regular supporters”, says Carol May-McQuillan, Senior Manager, Volunteer Development.

Year-End Giving
There's only a month and a half until the end of 2014! Have you made your end of year donation? There's still time to help the animals in need.
Gifts received or postmarked before midnight on December 31st, 2014 are eligible for a 2014 tax receipt. The fastest way to receive your receipt is to donate online right now.

iAdopt for the Holidays
Everyone wants to be with family over the holidays, pets included. This year, take part in the National "iAdopt for the Holidays" Adoption Campaign from November 1st until December 31st, 2014 and let a loving animal into your life. Visit one of the participating shelters, find your true love, and share your adoption story with others.
Together, we can change the lives of orphaned pets, raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption, and get as many animals into new homes over the holidays as possible.

Giving Tuesday - Give the Gift of Time
On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, Giving Tuesday will be celebrated all across Canada, and internationally around the world. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it is a day to give back, in whatever way you choose, but it is also an opportunity to teach the importance of philanthropy to our younger generations. The Ontario SPCA could not continue its life saving work without the help of our wonderful volunteers.
