The Ontario SPCA is gearing up for the holidays with some great programs in support of the animals. After a successful campaign last year, iAdopt for the Holidays launched nation wide November 1st, 2014. Rescue groups, SPCAs and Humane Societies are coming together to promote responsible pet adoption over the holidays.
As part of the iAdopt for the Holidays Campaign, Ontario SPCA Branches are offering a reduced adoption fee of $99 for all cats and kittens. View adoptable cats.
And what gift-giving season would be complete without the return of Paws & Give™, the Ontario SPCA's symbolic gift catalogue.

She had a significant abnormality in her walk, and veterinarians determined it was a dislocated hip. Veterinary surgeon Dr. P.J. Rocheleau performed surgery, and Piper came through with flying colours. She had a long recovery ahead of her, but thanks to rest and rehabilitation she fully recovered. Piper caught the eye of visitors to the shelter in September and was adopted. We wish the best to Piper and her new loving family. See all animals available for adoption.

Patti is a Pet Adoption Specialist
We are thrilled to highlight the efforts of volunteer Patti Jeanveau here at the Ontario SPCA Sudbury Branch.
Patti is an enthusiastic TSC employee and has been a long-standing volunteer at the shelter since 2005. She enjoys planning and coordinating our pet adoptions during the special adoption events at PetSmart.
Patti is also is a regular foster parent, and is drawn to helping under-socialized animals and cats with special needs. She has played an enormous role in finding homes for many cats into their forever homes, and we thank her for her hard work!

TSC Stores Partner with the Ontario SPCA
The Ontario SPCA and TSC Stores have developed a new partnership to raise funds for the Ontario SPCA Sudbury Branch and other Ontario SCPA shelters across the province.
The new TSC Store on the south end of Sudbury has been collecting donations through the sale of paper paws and have raised approximately $600 for this campaign!

iAdopt for the Holidays
Everyone wants to be with family over the holidays, pets included. This year, take part in the National "iAdopt for the Holidays" Adoption Campaign from November 1st until December 31st, 2014 and let a loving animal into your life. Visit one of the participating shelters, find your true love, and share your adoption story with others.
Together, we can change the lives of orphaned pets, raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption, and get as many animals into new homes over the holidays as possible.

Giving Tuesday - Give the Gift of Time
On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, Giving Tuesday will be celebrated all across Canada, and internationally around the world. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it is a day to give back, in whatever way you choose, but it is also an opportunity to teach the importance of philanthropy to our younger generations. The Ontario SPCA could not continue its life saving work without the help of our wonderful volunteers.
