A Happy Reunion
“Sienna” had come to the Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Branch as an owner surrender back in October. She was a very shy, well behaved six-year-old Australian Shepard.
After being in the adoption room for only a few days, Sienna found her perfect forever home, a home she was very comfortable and familiar with.
It turns out her original owner Jaime had found her beloved family dog while on our adoption website. A year earlier they had become separated due to an unfortunate situation.
When Jaime came in to take Sienna home, dog and owner were reunited, but the real reunion happened when they got home. As soon as Sienna saw the children it was like she had never been away. Tail wagging and a few tears shed, Sienna was back home.

Volunteer Spotlight - Meet Fred
Fred has been volunteering at the Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Branch for many years. He comes in every Saturday and helps out with the care of the smaller animals waiting to be adopted. Fred has a fondness for the little ones, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and all small animals in our care.
Fred has also been an evaluable team player when it comes to events. In the summer he helps out with our yard sales, and in the winter, he braves the cold to walk with us in the Santa Claus parade.
Thank you Fred for everything you do!

The Little Things That Make a Difference
Sometimes it’s the little things in life that makes a difference. Jackie is a long time supporter of the Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Branch.
She comes in on a weekly basis to visit the staff and animals and brings joy to everyone around.
Each time she comes in she donates a handful of change which helps buy supplies and food for the animals in our care. Not only does she come with a donation in hand, she is always armed with a joke or two to help brighten the staff’s day.
We are happy to have such dedicated supporters and thank Jackie for her acts of kindness.

You Help Save Lives
The Ontario SPCA depends almost entirely on the generosity of people like you - your compassion enables us to provide urgently needed care and shelter for the thousands of innocent animals that suffer from injury, abuse or neglect each year in this province.
Every success we achieve – every life we save – is only possible with the ongoing generosity of our supporters and donors.
On behalf of all of us at the Ontario SPCA, including all our frontline staff across the province who work so hard to save lives, thank you!
