From Timmins to Muskoka with Love
“Scooter” an eight-year-old Terrier mix was rescued by the Timmins Humane Society after being found wandering the streets on a cold November day. With a shelter overflowing, the Timmins team reached out to the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre where he is now looking for his forever home. Scooter is a charming boy loaded with personality who just wants to be part of a loving family! He is looking to be part of your everyday life, snoozing on the couch, help with dinner clean-up, and go for long walks. Scooter is neutered, updated on health checks and just received dental work to remove some damaged teeth.
Come in to the shelter to meet Scooter or check out his other friends ready for adoption.

A New Beginning
Three-month-old “Lou” was brought into the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre after being found in Parry Sound in desperate need of our help. She was immediately taken to a local veterinary hospital for a broken elbow on her right foreleg which had to be amputated due to the severity of the injury. Thanks to a wonderful foster family and fantastic care, Lou’s recovery was a success. Her wonderful personality, curious and playful nature shines through and it wasn’t long before she chose her new family and found her forever home.
Sadly, every day animals like Lou enter shelters nationwide needing special veterinary care. It is only through your continued support that Lou and others like her will receive the special care they so desperately need.
Please consider donating to help animals like Lou.

You Help Save Lives
The Ontario SPCA depends almost entirely on the generosity of people like you - your compassion enables us to provide urgently needed care and shelter for the thousands of innocent animals that suffer from injury, abuse or neglect each year in this province.
Every success we achieve – every life we save – is only possible with the ongoing generosity of our supporters and donors.
On behalf of all of us at the Ontario SPCA, including all our frontline staff across the province who work so hard to save lives, thank you!
