A Second Chance for Cassie
When the shy “Cassie” came into the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Branch, we knew it would be important to spend time socializing her to be more comfortable around people. To our surprise, it was revealed during a veterinary exam that Cassie was pregnant.
After delivering and raising her puppies while in foster care, it was time for her to find a permanent home. The Stephenson family fell in love with Cassie, and she is now enjoying life in her forever home!

Gabe Enjoys Helping Out
The Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Branch is thrilled to have Gabe Riviere-Reid as part of our volunteer team!
As a part of the production team at the local TV Cogeco, he handles our “Pet of the Month” segment, attends almost all of our events and covers the stories. We are appreciative of his help particularly during busy events, but his true passion is helping with the animals. Thank you Gabe for your contributions to our shelter!

Local Youth Entrepreneur Fundraises for our Shelter
We were so pleased to hear from Alyssa and her mother Valerie Tinkess regarding some fundraising Alyssa had done for the animals at our shelter! Alyssa creates unique, adorable monsters and makes each one by hand. For every monster she sells, she will donate $2.00 to the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Branch. She recently donated over $100 in Canadian Tire money as well.
