"Honey Bunny" Finds a Home
“Honey Bunny” was brought to the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Branch as a stray in August 2013. She was adopted with another rabbit in October 2013, but returned shortly after due to no fault of her own. She waited a long time for her forever family, who adopted her recently.
When we followed up with her, Angela told us that Honey Bee is doing wonderfully. She sleeps on Sophia’s bed when she is at school and plays with her when she is home. "We love her, thank you so much.”
We’re thrilled that Honey Bunny has found such a caring home and that she and Sophia are a perfect match!

Melanie is a Picture Perfect Volunteer
We want to highlight the unique skills of volunteer Melanie and thank her for her dedication to the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Branch.
Mel is a very skilled photographer; she takes outstanding photographs of all of our animals capturing each of their personalities to a tee. Mel’s photos help our animals find their way into the hearts of potential adopters. In addition to spending many hours taking wonderful photos, she also finds the time to work with the dogs.
Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us Melanie!

Exceptional Students Fundraise on National Cupcake Day™
Emma, Malcolm, and Olivia, along with Principal Colleen Egan, delighted us with their generous donation and hard work on National Cupcake Day™. They recruited teachers and parents to bake cupcakes, and they raised an incredible $704 through the sale of 352 cupcakes to staff and fellow students over a two-day period. They were so excited to bring their Cupcake Day money to the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Branch.
Thank you Emma, Malcolm and Olivia for putting your hearts into our National Cupcake Day fundraiser, thanks Principal Egan for supporting community projects and thank you to everyone at Island Lake PS!
