Lonely “Ivy” Rescued After Abandonment
We were contacted by a kind woman who found a diminutive little feline hiding on her property under an old trailer.
“Ivy” was extremely skinny and dehydrated upon her arrival at the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Branch. With proper nutrition and care, she quickly blossomed and staff were enamored with her sweet personality. Ivy was adopted just recently, along with another cat. We are thrilled for Ivy and her new home!

Corinne’s Dedication Shines
The Ontario SPCA Midland & District Branch is thrilled to highlight the hard work of Corinne Miller! Corinne has been volunteering with our shelter since 2013, and helps out at the shelter every weekend. When things get busy, she always pitches in to help our staff and assists with all sorts of tasks. We are happy to have her as part of our team, and appreciate all of her efforts!

Jaydin Collects Donations Instead of Gifts
We were honoured to receive a donation from nine-year-old Jaydin, who recently had her ninth birthday party. Instead of requesting gifts for her birthday, she asked for donations for the animals here at the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Branch. She raised almost $420 in money, gift cards, food, treats, toys and blankets!
Thank you Jaydin for your thoughtful contribution!
