Love Wins "Holly" Over
We recently had a lovely but terrified Labrador Retriever come into our care here at the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Branch. “Holly” was hiding in the back of her kennel, and it took several days before she began to respond to staff. It seemed like finding her a suitable home would be tough with her nervous demeanor. We were pleasantly surprised when a visitor to our shelter spotted Holly, and came to sit with her, patiently waiting for her to trust him. Day after day, he came repeatedly, and finally with a wag of the tail, they bonded and she is now happily settled in her new home with him! View all available animals.

We Need your Help at the Art Battle
Calling all volunteers! We have an exciting event coming up on April 23, 2015, that we require help with ticketing, silent auction and setup/takedown for The Art Battle and Silent Auction, to support the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Branch, is a friendly art competition where local artists create original pieces during a one-hour period. It will be held at the Lion’s Hall in Napanee.

Freda and Doris Knock our Socks Off
Two of our wonderful supporters, Freda and Doris, have bowled us over with their recent act of kindness. The front desk in our lobby at the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Branch had become virtually unusable with age and wear. The cost of replacing it was considerable, but thanks to the help of Freda and Doris, we are the proud recipients of a brand new desk to help keep us functional and organized.
