August 2012 Welcome to NewsHound!
Here is what's happening in August:
The “No Hot Pets” campaign continues bringing to light to the issue of owners leaving their pets in their cars during hot summer days. Thanks to a partnership with the York Regional Police and community animal welfare organizations, the Ontario SPCA was able to further spread the word at Operations V.A.L.U.E – Vulnerable Animals Left Unattended Everyday, and share pet safety tips to hundreds of people stopping by our tents in the parking lot at the Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre.
Join us in promoting the "No Hot Pets" campaign and spread the word on the importance of keeping your pets safe and cool this summer.
