Ontario SPCA Launches "iAdopt for the Holidays"

More families bring a new pet home during the holiday season than at any other time of the year.

“iAdopt for the Holidays” is a two-month adoption campaign that aims to change the lives of orphaned pets and raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption during the holiday season.

The "iAdopt for the Holidays" campaign will run every year from November 1st to December 31st with the goal of getting as many animals into new homes over the holidays as possible.

Update on Lucky!

Lucky was adopted from the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre.

Lucky's proud new owner recently gave us this update:

"Lucky has been doing really well with us. In fact, I think that he is a little bit spoiled. My husband, who initially didn't want a dog, is now totally in love with him. Lucky used to sleep on a pillow beside our bed, but he now sleeps with my husband and I."

We are so happy that Lucky and his new family are doing so well.

Since joining the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Branch as a volunteer,  Rachel has quickly become a key member of the team. She has shown dedication and commitment well beyond her years.

As an office support volunteer Rachel's warm and engaging personality enables her to help owners with the difficult choice of surrendering a pet and celebrates the joy of a new addition with adopters.

As an event commitee member, she ensure the success of the weekly Kibble & Bids Facebook auctions  and is the go-to volunteer for events like microchip clinics and raffles.

Rachel's heart clearly has no limit and we are proud to have her as a part of the Ontario SPCA family.
