Our “iAdopt for the Holidays” adoption campaign has been a huge success thus far. Many animals have been placed into their forever homes since the start of the campaign, November 1st.

Looking to add a furry friend to your family? You can help your local Ontario SPCA Branch reach their adoption goal by adopting an animal before December 31st.

Don’t forget to vote for your favourite adoption story on the iAdopt Facebook contest. The ten stories with the most likes will win an Ontario SPCA prize pack!

The Ontario SPCA was proud to be a part of the 2013 Woodstock Santa Parade.

Our Rescue and Relief truck and trailer along with a number of officers and their dogs proudly walked the streets of Woodstock.

 The Ontario SPCA is a part of the Woodstock Community,  responsible for responding to all calls for concern for the health and welfare of animals.

"Louie" the alligator has found a new home! Now we need your help to get him there!

We are pleased to report that Louie will be transferred to an accredited facility in Florida where he will live out the rest of his life.

Caring for Louie has been very expensive for the Society. Now that we've found Louie a home, we need to transport him there. This will be also be a huge financial undertaking for the Society.

Since joining the Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch as a volunteer in February 2012, Jessica has become a vital member of the branch team.

Jessica started as a dog walker and now takes photos of the animals for the Ontario SPCA Barrie Branch, the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Branch and the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch. She also helps out at numerous events and helps run the summer dog washes.

When asked what her experience has taught her, she said, “Personally I have found learning about all the “behind the scenes” stuff very interesting. There is a lot more work that goes into the whole process than I think most people realize.”

We are so lucky to have Jessica as a part of the Ontario SPCA team and we thank her for all her hard work and dedication.
