Premiere Awards
The following awards are given to recognize outstanding fundraising efforts:
The Pedigree Award
Presented to the top fundraising team in each Friends for Life! walk-a-thon location to recognize their achievement and dedication to being a voice for thousands of animals in desperate need of care across the province.
The Best in Show Award
Presented to the top individual fundraiser in each for Life! walk-a-thon location as a way of saying thanks for making a difference in the lives of animals across the province and giving the a second chance at a forever home.
General’s Award
Presented to the top provincial individual fundraiser for his/her achievement and commitment to animals across the country. General's Award comes with a flat screen TV.
Top Virtual Fundraiser Award
Presented to the top virtual fundraiser in the province for the Life! walk-a-thon as a way of recognizing their achievement and dedication for making a difference in the lives of animals across the province without being able to attend the event.
Ribbon Award
Presented to the top first time fundraiser in each Friends for Life! walk-a-thon to recognize his/her achievements and dedication to giving animals across the province a second chance at a new life. Every registered walker is eligible to win these awards. Pledges must be submitted by 12 midnight the day before the event. Please see your local community event for date and time.
Rewards
As a barking big "thank you" from General and his fellow animal friend, he is offering a wide range of rewards to individual walkers and walk teams.
Individual Rewards
Participants who raise more than $50 by July 1st, 2012 (fall walks) and $150 by July 15th, 2012 (fall walks) will have the opportunity to receive rewards based on the dollar amount raised
$50 Raised - Receive a Friends for Life! T-Shirt
$150 Raised - Receive a Friends for Life! Water Bottle
$250 Raised - Receive a $25 Gift card for Ren's Pet Depot
$500 Raised - Receive a pick your own $50 Gift Card from GIFTLUXE
$750 Raised - Receive a pick your own $75 Gift Card from GIFTLUXE
$1000 Raised - Receive a pick your own $100 Gift Card from GUFTLUXE

**For each $1,000 you raise (to a maximum of $10,000) you will receive an additional $100 gift card of your choice**
***Participants walking at the Lindsay location are not eligible for these awards or rewards, please contact the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes for details.***
Group Fundraising Awards
Teams who raise funds through group initiatives (e.g. pledges to the team, bake sales, dress down at work day, etc.) qualify for team prizing.**

| $1,000 | $100 Gift Card |
For each $1,000 (up to 10,000) you raise over $1,000, the team receives an additional $100 gift card.
**To be eligible for awards and rewards all gift must be submitted on the day of the walk**
