Lucien needs your help!

Lucien is a two-year-old Pomeranian who recently came into out care after suffering a badly broken leg. Like most dogs, he gets excited about going outdoors. Unfortunately, he slipped on some stairs on his way out to play and broke his right femur when he fell.

The surgery to set his leg was much more extensive than veterinarians anticipated, but Lucien is a trooper. He put on his bravest face and came through the procedure like champ. He is now on mandatory rest while his leg heals so he doesn’t get excited and re-injure himself.

Despite the pain he has endured during this ordeal, Lucien is still his sweet, snuggly self. This shy boy is counting down the days until he’s well enough to find that special someone who will give him a home and a place in their heart.

It will be a long road before Lucien is ready for adoption though, which is why we need your support to help recover the costs of his surgery and care while he recuperates.

Please make a special gift today to help Lucien, and animals like him, get the life-saving care they require.

Without your support, new beginnings for animals like this cute little guy would not be possible.
