You can help Jules back on her feet!

What Jules wanted more than anything was to run and play, like 16-week-old puppies love to do. Now she needs your help to recover, and discover new life on three legs.

Jules is a beautiful Black Lab-mix who came to the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre in severe pain after fracturing her leg. She was immediately brought to a veterinarian who determined the growth plate and joint in the puppy’s leg was fractured. Sadly, because of the severity of the injury, her leg couldn’t be saved, and amputation was recommended by the veterinarian to ensure she would grow up to enjoy a good quality of life.

With her surgery now behind her, Jules is now recovering. She’s learning to get around on three legs and we’re confident she will be back to her usual puppy antics in no time.

We need your support to help us recover the costs of Jules procedure, which is estimated at over $2,000. Please make a special gift today to help Jules, and animals like her, get the life-saving care they require. With your support, more animals like Jules can experience a second chance in life.
