Urgent appeal: Snowflake needs your help!

Imagine a delicious meal being placed in front of you, but you can only pick at it because your mouth is so infected and sore. That was Snowflake’s reality. Behind his laidback personality was a cat coping with painful, rotten teeth and resorptive lesions.

This sweet seven-year-old cat was surrendered into our care and needed extensive dental work to return him to health. Sadly, many animals suffer from undiagnosed periodontal disease that goes untreated. Fortunately for Snowflake, he is on the road to recovery.

After extensive dental surgery to remove numerous teeth, we’re pleased to report that Snowflake is on the mend. This affectionate boy purrs as we tend to his needs, as if to say, “Thank you for making me feel better!”

It will be a long road to recovery before Snowflake recuperates and is ready for adoption. The worst is over for Snowflake, but the costs of his surgery and care go above and beyond our normal cost of care. Can you help us with a special gift today?

Thank you for helping Snowflake and other vulnerable animals in our community.
