Urgent appeal: De-De needs your help!
When De-De started having accidents around the house, her owners surrendered the four-year-old Bichon/Shih Tzu cross into the care of the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre.
Our staff noticed that De-De urinated frequently and struggled to relieve herself. A veterinary examination revealed that De-De was urinating in the house not because she lacked training or was disobedient, but because she had a very large stone in her bladder. Imagine the discomfort this stoic little dog was silently suffering through.
We’re pleased to report that the surgery was a success. A stone the size of a kiwi fruit was removed from this little dog! It will be a long road to recovery before De-De is ready for adoption, which is why we need your support to help recover the costs of her surgery and care while she recuperates.
Please make a special gift today to help De-De, and animals like her, get the life-saving care they require.
Once this painful ordeal is behind her, De-De will be ready to meet her forever family. Please consider donating to the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre today.
