Sweet Bowie Found His Special Home!

Emergency Care Fund Goal $1,000.00

Bowie is a sweet 5-year-old Chesapeake Bay mix who came to the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre after being surrendered through an investigation. When Bowie came to the shelter, he was suffering from a severe flea allergy. His rear end was raw, he was experiencing hair loss all over his body, his ears were infected and he had discharge in both eyes. Bowie was in really rough shape.

Bowie started receiving his treatment when it was determined that he not only had a flea allergy, but severe food allergies as well. He received six weeks of treatment and was then ready to find his forever home. It was going to be challenging, as Bowie requires special food and medication for the rest of his life, amounting to $450 or more each month. We were so happy when the weekend before Christmas, Bowie found his forever home just in time for the holidays.

Thank you to the community members who helped us fundraise to cover some of Bowie's cost of care. We hope that more kind individuals will make a donation to our Centre to support other animals like Bowie who will need our help in the future.

To Bowie and his new family - we hope that you have a wonderful, happy and long life together. Thank you for adopting this amazing boy!
