Two Amazing Dogs Need your Help!

Hunter
Hi! My name is Hunter and I'm a sweet 2-year-old black German Shepherd. I was so fortunate to come into the care of the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre, as I was surrendered and in terrible discomfort. I had severe skin and coat issues which caused open sores due to the severity of the infection and I lost the majority of my fur.

My friends at the Orangeville & District Animal Centre are so great! I was examined by one of their veterinary partners and tests revealed I had a serious skin infection, yeast build up and some underlying allergies. Thankfully, with the right treatment plan, medication and a specialty diet, my pain will soon be under control and I expect to make a full recovery.

Despite the discomfort and pain the infection has caused, I am still an extremely playful dog with quite the personality. I hope to be feeling much better soon and can't wait to go up for adoption to find my 'furever' home!

Ace
Hi! My name is Ace and I am goofy 10 month old Great Dane / German Shepherd cross who is full of life and energy. I was hit by a car and found on the side of the road by the Orangeville Animal Control.

Upon examination, it was determined that I had a broken leg. Thankfully, our local veterinarian partners quickly arranged for surgery. Although quite difficult for an energetic boy like myself, I have to stay calm for the next six weeks for my leg to heal so I can go up for adoption and start searching for my ‘furever’ home!

Hunter and I are so thankful for the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre for the care they provided us, so we thought we could raise some money to help recover the cost of our treatment. With more funding, they can continue to help other animals just like us, get the second chance they deserve.

It’s because of your support that more animals are being saved and finding their forever home.
