This handsome boy whom we have named Elvis was living in a residential neighborhood with no home to call his own; he was a stray. Many residents would feed him but no one was able to approach him as he was afraid or insecure of what their intentions were. One lady had been feeding him for a few months when she finally was able to befriend him and stroke his head, after many weeks she gained enough trust to be able to pick him up. Over the course the cat visiting her she had started to notice he was not able to bear any weight on his front paw and she became quite concerned about this stray boy.
Elvis (as we have named him) was brought to our branch in need of our help. We brought Elvis to the Animal Hospital and is was determined that his badly injured right front leg had been that way for some time; the tissue had died and he was unable to bear any weight on the leg-he would need this leg amputated to alleviate discomfort.
Our branch relies on donations to assist us in caring for the thousands of abused, neglected and abandoned animals we see each year. Our resources are very low at this time of year and we are calling out for help to enable us to alleviate this poor kitty’s distress and discomfort, please consider donating today.
The cost of surgery and after care for our lovely boy Elvis will be approximately $1800
