“Tuts” needs your help!

Tutsukami is a handsome Himalayan-mix who has been through a lot and needs a little extra love right now.

“Tuts,” as we affectionately call him, was surrendered into the care of the Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Animal Centre with a condition called Entropion. This genetic condition afflicting our feline friend causes a portion of the eyelid to be inverted, or folded inward against the eyeball. It’s a very uncomfortable condition that leads to irritation and scratches to the cornea and, in extreme cases, can lead to a loss of vision.

Upon surrender, Tutsukami was immediately examined and prescribed an antibiotic eye medication prior to undergoing surgery to correct the issue. He is currently being treated to keep his eyes hydrated and free from infection, and is expected to make a full recovery.

As you can see, Tuts still has a long way to go before he is ready to find a loving home to call his own, which is why we need your support to help recover the costs of his surgery and care while he recuperates.
Please make a special gift today to help Tuts, and animals like him, get the life-saving care they require.

Without your support, new beginnings for animals in need would not be possible.
