Chase needs your help!
Chase is a four-month-old Miniature Pinscher who was recently surrendered to the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre after suffering a badly broken leg. This poor little guy jumped down too many stairs, fracturing his fibula and tibia.
Wrapped in a blanket, Chase was in visible pain when he arrived to our centre. He whimpered as our staff examined him, yet remained friendly and cooperative despite his discomfort. We immediately took him to a veterinarian who determined surgery was needed to save Chase’s leg.
We’re pleased to report that the procedure to insert hardware into Chase’s leg to stabilize the injury was successful! He’s now recovering, but it will be a long road before he’s ready for adoption, which is why we need your support to help recover the costs of his surgery and care while he recuperates.
Please make a special gift today to help give animals like Chase a new beginning. When you make a donation to help Chase, we’ll display a “Get Well Paw” with your name on it in our animal centre to let Chase know you care.
Without your support, new beginnings for animals like this cute little guy would not be possible.
