Can you help Buck?

Instead of running and playing like other dogs, Buck limped through life, feeling a sting of pain with every step. Sadly, he was also being bullied by another dog in his previous home.

Once in our care, the two-and-a-half-year-old Greyhound/Husky-mix underwent a veterinary examination that revealed his leg hadn’t healed properly from a previous injury. To give him the best possible chance at a pain-free life, the veterinarian treating Buck recommended amputating his leg.

Buck is recovering well and resting comfortably after undergoing surgery. He will spend some time with us recovering and getting some much-needed love and care before he's ready to find a new home.
Buck’s surgery, medication and post-operative therapy is expected to exceed $1,500.

Will you donate today to support Buck, and other animals like him, in need of life-saving care?

It’s your support that will make it possible for Buck to have a second chance at finding a forever home where he can thrive and be his fun-loving, playful self. Recoveries like this would not be possible without caring support from community members like you.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of animals in need!
