A three year old bull terrier with serious medical issues was recently surrendered to the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Branch by a breeder along with nine other Bull Terriers.
“Gia” was very ill when she first arrived. She was suffering from a high temperature and infection, was in pain and very uncomfortable. Gia needed veterinary care to address these issues as well as a loss of hair on her face, ears and multiple other locations all over her body.
Caring for and providing medical attention for Gia and the other Bull Terriers has put a significant strain on the branch’s resources.
The Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Branch is now appealing to the public to help cover the cost. The branch’s goal is to raise $2,000 to assist with present bills and continual care for Gia and other animals like her.
“Everyday, our staff work diligently toward a "happy ending" for Gia and other animals in our care,” says Judy O’Brien, Branch Manager. “Please help us continue the life-saving work we do by making a donation.”
Help Gia live in her own skin by making a donation to the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Branch today.
